00230m3PinAnn Demeulemeester never disappoints.  When I saw her fall 2008 collection, I was a little disappointed, but it quickly grew on me.  With this collection, I am instantly in love.  It is not a departure from the usual, but is it possible that this collection is more romantic than previous collections?  Black and white is a classic and easily transferable from season to season.  These colors dominate my wardrobe and are easily interchangeable. Now, take these pieces and pair them with her talent for draping, proportions, and attention to detail.  Classic, classic…

I love Ann’s use of older men on the runway.  They make her clothes look so elegant and prove that, yes, an older gentlemen can be quite stylish.  I hope I look that good when I get older.  On another note, Ann has convinced me to finally jump on the bandwagon to what I consider man capris. She does them so masculine and stylish.  How can I resist?
