Refined Work–Approaching her spring/summer 2014 collection with as much casualness as her refined man can possess, Ann Demeulemeester reinterpreted past design ideas, blending it with a new renaissance man. Furnished in both black and red, vertical stripes were back with a vengeance covering trousers, coats and other Demeulemeester essentials. Meanwhile, ornate prints crept up, playfully shifting position, adding a certain decadence to the Belgian designer’s man of three-piece suits.
