Newcomer Asger Juel Larsen’s fall collection is the unique exploration of unusual material blends and silhouettes that offer a look that s not only wearable, but masculine. Creating a collection that mirrors his own personal aesthetic, Larsen was inspired by the medieval period with special attention paid to chain mail. Larsen trades in the typical bulky chain mail of the period for a chic lighter contemporary. Boxy and relatively short, the chain mail is given definite shapes that beautifully contrast the billowing silhouettes of many of the collection’s trousers. Adding the final touch of drama, the collection is complete with the addition of long sheen and sheer outerwear.
