Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2015–The latest collection from Balenciaga is sharp, concise and to the point. Featuring an understated color palette of black, gray and blue hues, the collection is minimal on the details, highlighting menswear classics like the trench with a concealed closure and a small collar. The same quiet philosophy translates into short-sleeve knits built on structure as well as longer jackets. Adding leather to the mix, the shape is more relaxed for a double-breasted jacket with matching shorts. The heart of the collection, the utilization of luxe fabrics to reinterpret items as simple as the long-sleeve tee and henley are an achievement.
