Bally creative director Pablo Coppola embraced an opulent attitude for the brand’s fall-winter 2016 collection. Inspired by Peter Schlesinger’s book Checkered Past, Coppola imagined an eclectic gathering of influencers, which led the designer to consider a marriage of various aesthetics. Taking into account the style inclinations of the dandy as well as the rocker and more, Bally’s latest range has fun with the brand DNA.
A heritage of quality craftsmanship is juxtaposed with the spirited idea of anything goes. Here, dinner jackets are worn with polo shirts, leather jackets paired with pleated trousers and suits layered with quilted parkas. Cutting pieces from leather, velvet and wool, Bally delivers a rich collection with a cheeky personality.
