Xavier Serrano is Balmain Hair Couture’s latest model muse. The Spanish model stars in the brand’s fall-winter 2022 advertising campaign, directed by fashion and creative producer Alejandro Munoz. For the new ad, Javier Biosca photographs Xavier with model Ymre Stiekema. The pair showcases the most recent stunning hairstyles achievable using Balmain Hair Couture products.
Balmain Hair Couture Fall/Winter 2022 Campaign
This season for Balmain Hair Couture is all about natural, powerful looks with a dash of intrigue. Spanish photographer Javier Biosca captures the essence of the new Balmain Hair Couture season with his photographs. Front and center in the advertisement is Xavier Serrano sporting hairstyles crafted by Gino Mateus.
Gino Mateus explains, “On Xavier, I have been inspired by the man of the 50s and I have reinterpreted all that magic of elegance and seduction, adapting it to our current times.” According to the hair stylist, the new Balmain Hair Couture male is “a modern-day gentleman, fresh, natural, and secure.”
Channeling 1950s glamour for the day’s leading men, Xavier Serrano sports a hairstyle with more volume. Using Balmain Hair Couture products Signature Foundation, Volume Mousse Strong, Texturizing Volume Spray, Matt Clay Strong, Session Spray Medium, and Silk Perfume, the brand offers the following tip: “Dry the hair with maximum volume, apply the Matt Clay Strong and brush the hair with the styling comb.”
Hair stylist Gino Mateus offers up a look for men with curly hair. Mateus uses Balmain Hair Couture Signature Foundation, Curl Cream, Session Spray Medium, and Silk Perfume. Balmain offers, “To get the perfect curly look apply the Curl Cream and dry the hair with the hands. Finish the look by creating curls with the curling wand and moisturize the curls with the Silk Perfume.”
