Balmain creative director Oliver Rousteing embraces the world of dance with a new gig. Rousteing collaborates with the Paris Opéra Ballet. British Vogue shares a look at Rousteing’s exclusive designs for Sébastien Bertaud’s ballet, Renaissance. Injecting the costumes with Balmain’s opulent signatures, Rousteing brings together glittering sequins and pearls for the occasion.

Talking about working with Balmain, Bertaud shares, “I wanted to propose a ballet of today. As a choreographer, I feel the responsibility to make choices that push our identity into the future.” The artist continues, “I was wondering which designer could be the next one for this amazing institution–and for me, Olivier was the only one.”
