Their interpretation of Banana Republic’s BR Athletics line, a gender-inclusive capsule collection inspired by vintage athletic flair, offers their distinct personal style.

Banana Republic BR Athletics Campaign
Micaiah Carter takes to Brooklyn, New York, to capture the BR Athletics advertisement for Banana Republic. Among the creatives included in the campaign are:
- An interdisciplinary artist and musician Koi King.
- Multi-media artist, photographer, painter, and musician Caviēr.
- Painter Leon Xu.
- Aspiring dancer and writer Dido Rich.
The talents inspire in BR Athletics styles that pay homage to vintage club clothes while still incorporating contemporary streetwear trends.
“My aesthetic is authentic and uplifting. I want people to be shown in their best light, but I also want to come from another perspective not really seen,” Micaiah Carter talks about his experience shooting Banana Republic’s new campaign. “I think that energy came across in the BR Athletics photo shoot. I love being able to collaborate with other artists and to give them a platform where their personal style can come out and they can feel seen.”
