The Saga–Band of Outsiders proved this past Paris Fashion Week that they are the perfect label for the man around the clock. Recruiting model Brendan Ruck for the ‘Longest Show Ever’, the brand built a small compartment of cardboard boxes and wood planks as part of a window display. Housed there for sixty hours, Brendan was allowed to leave every ninety minutes between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm to change his outfit. The ensembles, relaxed in nature took on designer Scott Sternberg’s penchant for the quirky but smart affair. Coordinated tops and shorts took aim at the comfort of loungewear, while expected pieces like the double-breasted blazer made their appearance with a loose fit. Meanwhile prints such as argyle were expanded for a in your face interpretation of the prep favorite. Rounding out the range with a safari influence, green and khaki painted a fun picture slim-fit pants and outerwear, furnished in a contemporary context with the fun of Band of Outsiders style.
