Taking a trip down memory lane, the great American story that is, Band of Outsiders designer Scott Sternberg was inspired by the mom and pop shops of the 1950s, particularly the hardware store. Taking the season’s details from the aisles of a hardware store, Sternberg delivers a smart but quirky collection, marrying his slim tailored lines with fun graphics. Images referenced from the hardware store include a plywood pattern as well as hammer and nails graphics. In addition to sweatshirts with name patches and workwear denim, Band of Outsiders collaborates with Mackintosh once more with a trench and anorak MAC making a timeless impression.
