Barbour introduces a new men’s line for the spring-summer 2022 season. The heritage brand unveils its 55 ̊ North collection, which embraces the essence of the outdoors while incorporating a nautical twist.
The collection’s name represents the first coordinates calculated from the latitude and longitude of Barbour’s historic home in South Shields, in the North East of England, since the company’s establishment in 1894.
Barbour 55 ̊ North Collection
The 55 ̊ North collection reflects a nautical aesthetic and pays homage to Barbour’s legacy of serving the coastal and maritime industries. Thoughts of nautical adventure inspire lightweight, water-resistant styles. The outdoor-inspired collection includes a variety of jackets, shirts, and other basics for layering.

The color palette for the collection takes its inspiration from the rich hues of the British coastline, which is appropriate. Jackets are a significant component of the 55 ̊ North line. They are available in various styles ranging from the Barbour Bedum casual jacket with a stowaway hood to the Barbour Begral showerproof jacket and the Barbour hooded mac jacket.
A summer shirt quilted jacket proves to be versatile as well. Meanwhile, Barbour continues to embrace more sustainable clothing for men. This season’s collection includes a selection of overshirts and t-shirts, frequently made from Better Cotton-certified sustainable cotton, organic yarns, and recycled nylons.
