Belstaff explored the idea of the British desert explorer for its spring-summer 2016 collection. Taking a nod from history, particularly its own heritage as a supplier to the British forces, Belstaff referenced Lawrence of Arabia in the 1930s to present day with Levison Wood. Men’s design vice president Frederik Dyhr explains, “It’s an exploratory collection that injects technical innovation and contemporary fabrications into Belstaff’s iconic silhouettes, evolving elements of military and heritage gear for a modern Belstaff identity.”
