Beyond Closet Fall/Winter 2014–Beyond Closet designer Tae Yong gave the military officer a fashionable spin for his fall/winter 2014 collection. Beginning with tailored coats and jackets decorated with large brass colored buttons, strong shapes dominated, later softened by sportier pieces for the civilian. From tartan and an ornate take on camouflage to select color blocking, the collection took on a smart style with current trends finding a new voice with a motif as classic as the military. Pleated trousers and cargo pants completed ensembles centered around outerwear, bringing the collection full circle for a practical approach to stylish urban wear.
