2016 marks designer Tomas Maier’s first pre-fall collection for menswear. The Bottega Veneta creative director sums up the outing, explaining, “This collection is a wardrobe of pieces…a new idea of staple items for men.” A prominent detail of the range is its use of rich monochromatic hues. From army green and deep reds to sensational blues, the Bottega Man is a chic vision.

Classic separates such as the bomber jacket and crewneck sweater are revisited in shadow-dyed cotton, needle-punched wool, waxed leather and Japanese denim. The lineup’s easy versatility is best elaborated by Maier, who shares, “I wanted this collection to have a lightness, so that it can be worn through the summer to the first months of fall.” The designer continues, “Everything we do at Bottega Veneta is about quality, innovation and special techniques. Every detail is there for a reason, in each piece we create.”
