Approaching his spring-summer 2016 menswear collection, Brioni creative director Brendan Mullane was inspired by the work of Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa. The results included a calming mix of grays and blues, brought together with architectural prints. Intersecting blocks, stroked with color, dressed everything from smart short-sleeve suits and knitwear to adventurous suiting. Deviating away from prints, a highlight included a suede pair of shorts, matched with a coordinated top. Moving on to update classics such as the parka or plain t-shirt with the season’s theme, Mullane unveiled a striking spring engagement.
