British fashion house Burberry and Barneys New York link up for a new, exclusive capsule collection entitled Burberry XO Barneys New York. The lineup is inspired by the relaxed spirit of Burberry Prorsum’s latest collection and features forty pieces, offering a mix of essential items like the biker jacket as well as tuxedos. Talking about the range, which launches February 9, 2015, Barneys executive vice president of men’s wear Tom Kalenderian shares with WWD, “Christopher Bailey [Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer] put together a collection tailored to our clients. We’ve always had a very special relationship with Burberry and have carried Prorsum since its inception. So this became a passion project.”
