Burberry Goes Solo–Iconic fashion brand Burberry have forgone industry norms by opting to take the reins of its fragrance and cosmetics interests in-house, rather than work with a partner to assist with manufacturing and distribution. This bold statement is accompanied by their decision to sell their fragrances on Amazon.com—a move that is intended to make the brand more widely accessible, as well as stem the sale of knock-off Burberry products via the online store.
