Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy aims high and collaborates with Burberry for spring-summer 2018. Recently unveiling his collection in Saint Petersburg, Rubchinskiy’s latest outing includes eight Burberry capsule pieces. The designer reinterprets Burberry classics with his signature streetwear vibe. Burberry’s iconic pieces such as the trench coat or the check shirt inform the covetable selection.

Rubchinskiy discusses the collaboration. He shares, “Burberry has always symbolized the epitome of classic British style to me. Their timeless pieces are the perfect balance to our modern streetwear creating a great mix. I’m very happy with the result of our collaborative work.”

Meanwhile, Burberry chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey adds, “I have been a big supporter and admirer of Gosha’s creative work for a long time. He has an innate cultural sensibility and I was honored when he asked us to collaborate together for his new collection.”

Bailey continues, “His reinterpretation of some of our most iconic designs, feels exciting, new and relevant whilst paying enormous respect to their British cultural heritage.”
