Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015–For spring/summer 2015, Burberry chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey was inspired by the work of novelist and travel writer Bruce Chatwin. Naming the collection Book Covers & Bruce Chatwin, Burberry’s smart British sensibility was reworked by the addition of original illustrations and typographic prints modeled after vintage English book covers. Walking to the music of British sing songwriter Benjamin Clementine, the men of Burberry Prorsum took to the catwalk with clean, simple looks that were amped up by the collection’s graphic prints and bold colors. Accessorized with floppy hats, oxfords and colorful trainers, models sported trench coats, double-breasted jackets, graphic t-shirts, duffle coats and other classic essentials that exuded a refined casualness.
