Suits & Boys–Italian label Canali had a simple vision for their spring/summer 2013 collection. Relying on their strengths and heritage, the brand focused on the suit, providing it in all its event incarnations. First, jackets and pleated trousers were brought forth with a gangster sensibility, boasted double-breasted fits, pin stripes and cool grays. Finished off with a fedora, Canali’s stylish gent then moved on to crisp spring whites. Juxtaposed with a casual inclination, t-shirts afforded a comfortable fit, while soft pastels and gradients gave the collection a light sophisticated feel. Moving on to brighter colors and highlighting a couple of sportswear pieces, bright colors burst forth in leather jackets and trainers, before brining the range back to a chic note. Plaids, stripes and soft colors once again dressed Canali’s suiting, rounded out by a bold evening look enlisting jewel toned silk jackets.
