Katja Hentschel photographs Franco Zamora for Berlin-based label Carni. Founded this past January, the label gets its name from the term carny, which became popular in 1930s America to describe people working at carnivales, ranging from those who set up booths to musicians, bearded ladies, and others. Standing out to the point of being an attraction, Carni infuses their accessories with the same energy. Large and noticeable, the debut collection features necklaces and bracelets made from silver, leather, acrylic and rope.
