Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld embarked on a Roman holiday for the fashion house’s pre-fall 2016 collection. Celebrating the idea of a Parisian in Rome, Lagerfeld brought signature Chanel tweeds to the Italian capital. Complementing the Chanel woman, male models hit the catwalk in elongated, layered numbers.
Clad in earthy hues, the tweeds hit a soft note with sleek, refined silhouettes. Here, the idea of trim-cut suiting and impeccably tailored outerwear merged. Wearing white tops with ballooned sleeves, models were also layered in fine necklaces, which brought to mind Lagerfeld friend and style icon–Pharrell Williams.
