The Buildup–As preparations continue for Burberry Prorsum’s spring 2012 show, occurring later this month, the label looks to Charlie France and Thomas Penfound to model their pre-season collection. Leaving the hard structure of recent seasons behind, but still embracing color, Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey infuses the heritage label with a relaxed resort feel. Complementing the expected lineup of fantastic outerwear, Bailey outfits the season with knits and fitted shirting options in a variety of textures, colors and prints. Altogether combining great clothes with a charming mood, the road to Milan is indeed promising.
