Closed has collaborated with the renowned art museum in Hamburg, Hamburger Kunsthalle, to create a groundbreaking capsule collection that merges fashion and art. The range features a contemporary and colorful reinterpretation of some of the most iconic paintings from the Hamburger Kunsthalle’s Old Masters collection, including “Portrait of Victor Emil Janssen” by Jacob Gensler and Caspar David Friedrich’s “Wanderer above the Sea of Fog.”

This collaboration celebrates innovation and pushing boundaries, as Closed and Hamburger Kunsthalle share a vision of creating something new and exciting. The fashion brand’s designers were inspired to give a modern twist to the classic works of art from the Old Masters collection, making it the perfect foundation for this cross-disciplinary partnership. Fashions range from sweatshirts and t-shirts to jackets.
