Drawing inspiration from the film adaptation of Boris Pasternak’s Doctor Zhivago, Cold Method translates a love story, set against the Russian Revolution into a season coined Hero for One Day. Contrasting the clean lines of aristocracy and the gritty nature of the military, fall’s collection sets contemporary menswear to the beat of a hero of many moods. Taking on parachute-like silhouettes, heightened attention to structure and acute accessibility, Cold Method creates the perfect storm of varied ideas. / Photography by Peter Stigter with styling by Sonny Groo and Edwin Goudens van de Handel.
