A Barbaric Method–Inspired by the film Lord of the Flies, Cold Method transforms the school boy uniform into atypical work-wear with a savage sensibility. Deconstructing the formality at state, designer Dieter de Cock blends the preppy attitude with a nonchalant twist of militaristic influences, boasting camouflage prints, utilitarian jackets and rugged cargo shorts, while tailoring is retained through slim suiting, fitted Oxford shirts and dress shorts. Featuring high quality fabrics in the likes of canvas, linen, denim and jersey, innovative washes with a naturalistic color palette are implemented for a thoroughly modern appeal.
