Alex Mill Launches Easy to Wear Essentials for Spring ’19 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published February 20, 2019

Alex Mill launches a new men’s collection under the creative direction of Somsack Sikhounmuong. The designer brings to the label experience from working at J.Crew and Madewell. Sikhounmuong works alongside brand co-founder Alex Drexler to deliver “easy-to-wear essentials.” The lineup comes together with smart staples such as denim jeans, unlined jackets, and khakis. Discussing the outing, Sikhounmuong explains, Alex and I both know that there is an opportunity in fashion today for really good clothes that aren’t overdesigned, overcomplicated, that are relevant and personal but not trendy. Sikhounmuong continues, Conceptually we put this collection together with the notion that style should be understandable and still stir emotion. We believe that looking great can be easy.
