The nineties are well and alive with AMIRI’s spring-summer 2019 collection. Mike Amiri once again brought his Los Angeles-based brand to Europe for Paris Fashion Week. Taking inspiration from his own upbringing in southern California, Amiri embraces a nineties vibe for the season. Colored denim, cut-off shorts, and satin trousers represent a hodgepodge of references. Capturing a melting pot of style, shirts in plaid, Hawaiian prints, and other patterns contributed to a vintage attitude. Not shy of character, the collection also included camouflage, checkerboard, zebra, and tie-dye prints. An Amiri essential, leather jackets accompanied a lineup of bombers, sweatshirts, and cardigan sweaters.
