Beau Homme Looks to the Art World for Spring ’19 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published August 29, 2018

Beau Homme unveils its spring-summer 2019 collection entitled “Forms of Being.” The fashion brand enlists model Yannick Abrath to star in the accompanying lookbook. He takes to the studio connecting with photographer Cy Karrat and stylist Becky Seagere. Front and center, Yannick embraces the unique shapes of Beau Homme’s collection.

Design duo Justin Mansfield and George Bunker take inspiration from the reconfigured style of the Constructivist Art Movement. Constructivism strove to replace the predominant concern for composition with one of construction. The object is broken down, reduced and then reassembled to create revolutionary new works.

Exploring this idea within the confines of fashion, Beau Homme plays with the overlapping and intersection of shapes for spring. A certain tension pervades the collection as menswear is investigated, dissected, and reconstructed.
