Berluti finds peace in an understated but luxurious fall-winter 2018 collection. In a world that is louder than ever, I like the idea of a quiet man,
says Haider Ackermann. The creative director explains Berluti’s man as serene, cool, collected, yet standing on his own two feet.
Focusing on an artisanal craft, a leather-rich collection comes together. This includes seamless leather coats and jackets. However, at the same time, Ackermann works his magic with nylon as well. Sporty jackets and parkas join Japanese brushed cashmere sweaters. Suiting for the season features relaxed tailoring with round shoulders and slender legs. Choice accessories range from leather weekender bags and backpacks to an XL pouch. Berluti’s collection also features the introduction of the Alessandro One Cut seamless boot.
