While anticipation builds for Riccardo Tisci’s debut outing for Burberry, the label sets the groundwork with its resort 2019 collection. It’s back to basics as Burberry embraces classic shapes and clean finishes. Putting his stamp of approval on the range, Tisci makes an edit entitled “B Classic.” Pieces come together from the in-house designed collection with a his and her flair. Discussing the resort lineup, Tisci shares, I wanted to celebrate the beauty, heritage and legacy that I discovered when I first arrived at Burberry. ‘B Classic’ is an edit that I’ve curated to honor the icons of the House–pieces like the trench coat, the quilted jacket, the car coat, the kilt–which sits at the heart of the SS19 pre-collection designed by the fantastic Burberry design team.
