Christopher Bailey presented his final collection for Burberry with a show entitled “Time.” The president and chief creative officer shared, My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to–and in support of–some of the best and brightest organizations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world. There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength and our creativity.
The standout statement of the collection comes in the form of Burberry’s iconic check. Bailey revisits the signature with the introduction of the rainbow to honor LGBTQ+. The colors of the rainbow were interweaved throughout the range’s many pieces as well. Oversized proportions and a casual attitude coincided with the season’s theme.
