Daniel Lee’s Burberry winter 2025 collection unfolded at Tate Britain, steeped in British heritage and a reverence for countryside traditions. The vision was clear—rain-drenched weekends, stately interiors, and the timeless craft of British tailoring.
The setting, rich with draped fabrics reminiscent of classic landscape paintings and regal tapestries, framed a collection where outerwear reigned supreme.
The runway cast a lineup of British actors and musicians, reinforcing the brand’s storytelling. Jason Isaacs embodied refined elegance in a Burberry Check-collar trench coat, while Guy Remmers channeled quiet sophistication in a deep brown corduroy trench, cinched with a matching belt and paired with tailored trousers.
Richard E. Grant walked with a theatrical edge, clad in a tailored coat, Burberry Check gloves in hand, and an umbrella tucked under his arm—a nod to the brand’s signature rainy-day aesthetic.
Burberry’s mastery of texture came through in thick wool coats, sweeping trenches, and enveloping scarves. Plush velvet, distressed leather, and brushed wool introduced texture and contrast, elevating each look with a tactile richness.
A standout moment arrived in a lush, wine-red velvet suit, its double-breasted silhouette exuding opulence against the muted backdrop. Elsewhere, a black leather trench with a subtle sheen and a shearling-lined aviator jacket added edge to the collection’s romanticism.
This was a Burberry rooted in tradition yet unafraid of grandeur—heritage fabrics, noble silhouettes, and a cinematic lineup capturing the soul of British luxury.
