Canali Fall 2024: The Great Outdoors Tailored

The Fashionisto / Published January 14, 2024

Canali’s fall-winter 2024 collection, aptly named “Into Nature,” is a homage to the great outdoors, redefining sartorial elegance with an understated charm.

This season celebrates textures, merging the raw appeal of the wilderness with the refined craftsmanship of tailoring.

Textured fabrics such as bouclé, alpaca, mouliné, mélange, wool, and cashmere serve as the collection’s foundation, providing a sensory experience akin to a forest’s multifaceted landscape.

The outerwear selection is highlighted by double-breasted peacoats and car coats that exude a dignified air. Fluid, relaxed pants complement these pieces, ensuring ease of movement and a relaxed silhouette.

Canali Fall/Winter 2024 Collection

Traditional outdoor tailoring is reimagined through plaid, Prince of Wales, and corduroy suits, offering a seamless transition from the wilderness to the sophisticated.

The plaid, particularly in shades of dark gray, adorns not just the outwear but also dresses the collection’s suits and knitwear, extending its reach to accessories like backpacks and scarves, creating a coherent theme.

Aiming to reinterpret formal attire with an outdoor lens, the collection introduces shirt jackets, pants, and soft knitwear that blend seamlessly. Parkas with leather pockets and shearling-collared bombers stand out, offering functionality with a fashion-forward edge.

A standout color within the collection is a rustic green, inspired by Canali’s heritage and Stendhal’s “Journal du voyage dans la brianza,” which evokes the lush foliage and the deep, organic connection to nature.

“Into Nature” by Canali marries the tranquility of natural landscapes with the meticulousness of tailoring, resulting in a collection that is as much a tribute to the outdoors as it is to the legacy of craftsmanship.

This season proves that elegance can be both serene and striking and that the call of the wild can be answered with the quiet confidence of exceptional sartorial expertise.
