Canali Looks to Italian Riviera for Spring ’23 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published July 11, 2022

Canali heads to the Italian Riviera for its spring-summer 2023 collection. The Italian fashion brand finds itself in Liguria, finding inspiration in the region’s dreamy atmosphere, including its crescent-shaped coastline, silky sand, and cobblestone at every turn. Liguria is the source of the new season’s ideas and how they come to fruition. Here, simplicity and artistic brilliance coexist harmoniously.

For spring, Canali introduces its new “smartorial” concept inspired by its gentlemen in Liguria. Leisure but polished, it bridges the gap between business and casual wear, much like a personal wardrobe. The sartorial depiction of an elegant state of mind is at the heart of Canali’s style proposal.

The spring-summer 2023 collection, made entirely in Italy, is highlighted by a palette inspired by the Ligurian coast. Suits and shirts come in hues like powdered pink, sand, and sage. All pieces are mixed to create an eclectic wardrobe that may be worn together or separately, depending on the wearer’s preference.

Seasonal outerwear includes the overshirt and the shacket, which may be paired with chinos, denim, and linen pants. Bomber jackets in linen-silk and suede with chevron embossing are also in high demand. For the occasional rain shower, Canali offers a lightweight peacoat.

With the 150th anniversary of denim being commemorated throughout the range, notably in the saharienne jacket, Canali’s rich history and Italian coastal inspirations are reflected in the design. Denim items from Canali include jeans, bombers, and shirts.
