The latest fashion brand to show its collection in Shanghai, Coach staged its first-ever runway show in China. Stuart Vevers presented his pre-fall 2019 collection, marking the brand’s 15th anniversary in China. Rock ‘n’ roll style defined the outing with a look at New York City via an early 1970s lens. Vevers’ lineup included oversized sweaters, leather pants, shearling jackets, graphic tees, and blouson jackets. A retro flair was further emphasized with the use of patchwork for a special take on leather outerwear. Somber in tone, dusty hues complemented the occasional pop of color with shades of red, teal, and purple.
