Past, present and dreams of the future merge for COS’ spring-summer 2018 collection. The Swedish brand revisits clean classics for the season. Natural materials and organic shapes come together for the range. In fact, COS looks to the simple ways you can work with paper to inform the collection’s construction. This idea materializes itself in everything from pattern cutting and paper draping to 3D work. COS presents cotton in various forms, whether it is textured, coated, crisp, or crumpled. The lineup’s minimal pieces also feature silks, paper yarns, and starched summer wools. Natural tones influence COS’ color palette as well. The label gravitates towards white and wood-inspired tones to touches of leaf green, red clay, and ochre. Hero pieces include boxy jackets, fitted trousers, double-faced wool trousers, and a crossover coat. COS also delivers plenty of covetable accessories. Choice items such as the bucket hat and plimsoll make an appearance.
