Glenn Martens, Diesel’s creative director, moves the dial on denim with the brand’s resort 2023 collection for men. The season draws ideas from the relationship between denim, utility, and pop. Martens reimagines denim with an air of irreverence and youthfulness.
“There’s a fun factor to Diesel, a joy factor,” says Martens. “The identity of Diesel is very clear and it’s not too serious, which is why I think people are obsessed with the brand all over again.” Martens adds, “When you see this pre-collection, you really understand Diesel.”
Exploration, both forward-looking and reflective of the past, provides novel results. The collection’s highlight is Diesel’s signature denim items, which include timeless staples with cutting-edge innovations.
