Approaching Dior Men’s cruise 2020 collection, Kim Jones takes the opportunity to put fall’s exquisite tailoring on the backburner and offer a fresh new wardrobe. Jones seamlessly blends utility-chic details with today’s sportswear and streetwear trends. Styled by Melanie Ward, models Ludwig Wilsdorff, Lukas Gomann, and Serigne Lam appear before the lens of photographer Hugo Scott for Dior Men’s lookbook. The season samples an inspired color palette that references nuanced botanical and floral prints. The soft but confident theme provides a great balance to the substantial proportions of Jones’ menswear. At the same time, his designs mirror the refinements and tastes of the original maestro, Mr. Dior himself. Overall, Dior Men’s latest fashions certainly embody a collection crafted by a man designing for men. Fundamental essentials range from camp shirts and trenches to ingenious side opening suits. The lineup manages to balance an accessible and wearable edit with the exclusivity and mystique worthy of the French fashion house.
