Intrigued by studies of the past, Dior Men artistic director Kim Jones collaborates with Daniel Arsham for the brand’s spring-summer 2020 collection. Critics note the American artist’s work for its study of today’s archaeology. The season’s inspiration results in a melding of traditional and modern menswear ideas. Neutrals complement graphics and details, which reference geology. The collection takes its cue from the earth and delivers monochromatic numbers with interchangeable separates. Light and airy, the range shifts from soft tailoring to sheer shirts and printed jackets. The boiler suit makes a statement for the French label as well.
