Dsquared2 Revisits 1970/80s Style for Pre-Fall ’18 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published January 7, 2018

Dsquared2 blends generational trends for its pre-fall 2018 collection. Model Dusan Latinski stars in the lookbook. Designers Dan and Dean Caten look to the 1970s and 80s for inspiration. The brand’s tailored and casual DNA mirrors the hybrid of styles which come together. On one end of the spectrum, Dsquared2 produces tailored fashions with a formal rift on eighties hip-hop culture. Meanwhile, the seventies come forth with casual style. Denim jackets, plaid shirts, and embellished denim contribute to the outing. The Catens set their sights on updating the tuxedo once more. Approaching the season, Dsquared2 delivers zipped jackets, loose pants, and sequined details. The brand’s lineup also includes plenty of sneakers, distressed denim, and tube socks.
