Dunhill revisits sentiments of 1980s style with its spring-summer 2020 men’s collection. The brand calls to mind a trend-worthy moment when Japanese culture influenced British clothing. Classicism distorted became a defining theme for me this season,
shares Dunhill creative director Mark Weston. I wanted elegance and austerity disrupted by sensuality and provocation, with a feeling of fluidity and ease running through it all.
In step with other fashion houses this season, Dunhill embraces relaxed, draped proportions. Neutrals contribute to a monochromatic scheme with luxurious layers. Asymmetrical coats and jackets join slouchy leather pants, band-collar shirts, and exquisitely tailored blazers.
