Dunhill Packs Attitude with its Spring ’22 Identities Collection

The Fashionisto / Published June 28, 2021

Dunhill delivers an impactful wardrobe with attitude for its spring-summer 2022 collection. Entitled “Identities,” the range features twenty-seven looks accessorized with stylish tote bags and caps alongside other items. For inspiration, this unique collection looks to photographic artist Ellen Carey, whose work exhibits “color, serendipity, and process” as if to imbue the prints with “chance and elegance.”

Overall, the Dunhill collection represents an array of styles and varieties that aren’t afraid to show their imperfections and take on some of the “provocative effeminacy” of the ’80s casuals. “In this collection, I wanted to look at certain identities,” says Dunhill creative director Mark Weston. “These are clothing archetypes, but also identities of Britishness, of masculinity, of uniforms, as well as those of Dunhill past and the new era archetypes that we have sought to establish here.”

Working with art director Ezra Petronio, Mark Kean photographs models Abdullahi Amure, Andriy Skrynnyk, Keenan Gyamfi, Lawal Badmus, Louis Hart, and Nick Offord for Dunhill’s spring-summer 2022 lookbook. The models wear Mark Weston’s latest designs for the fashion house with styling by Elliott Smedley.
