Fendi’s fall-winter 2025 collection marks a centennial celebration, bridging its storied past with a contemporary vision. Silvia Venturini Fendi sidesteps traditional archival nostalgia, instead channeling personal recollections—both tangible and imagined—to redefine the essence of Fendi for the present.
“I didn’t want to spend too much time dwelling on the physical archives. For me, Fendi 100 is more about my personal memories—real or imagined—of what Fendi was and what Fendi means today,” explains Fendi.
This philosophy shapes the collection, which intertwines irony, sensuality, and Roman precision. Grand silhouettes unfold through oversized fur coats, exaggerated leather tailoring, and sculptural outerwear, balancing luxury with modernity.
A restrained yet opulent palette of deep browns, rich neutrals, and warm pastels underscores this interplay of indulgence and discipline. A full-length fur coat draped over sharp tailoring exudes old-world grandeur, while double-breasted coats in creamy cashmere evoke effortless refinement.
Texture dominates the narrative. Buttery leather surfaces appear supple and commanding, countered by the depth of fur trims and plush scarves. A chocolate-brown leather suit, cinched at the waist and softened by a fur collar, reimagines masculinity with a sensual edge.
Compact handbags crafted from exotic skins and upcycled materials further the house’s tactile exploration. The “Fendi BFF” concept adds a whimsical undercurrent, introducing charms and miniature characters crafted from repurposed fabrics. Even in luxury, there is room for play.
This season doesn’t linger in retrospection. It evolves—honoring the past while propelling Fendi into the future with a confidence that remains unmistakably Italian.
