Giorgio Armani Stuns with Versatile Fall ’20 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published January 15, 2020

Giorgio Armani has always been a versatile designer and the fall-winter 2020 collection from the fashion house isn’t any different. The collection has unique designs that show how modern trends can remain elegant. The lineup consists of styles that combine casual and semi-formal designs to create contemporary formal outfits. Armani delivers fresh wardrobe staples that include the likes of a jacket that doubles as a cardigan or trousers with casual hems on the cuffs. These pairings represent the interesting details that elevate Armani’s menswear.

The choice of fabrics that Giorgio Armani has chosen to work within the collection also showcases the sophistication of his timeless man. Velvet turtleneck sweaters, blanket-like overcoats, and wrap-around coats with shawl collars stand out. The selected clothing doesn’t just show the evolution of the design house but also the personality of the demographic. The designs are lightweight, reflecting flexibility rather than rigidity. There is a delicate balance between what the fabrics represent and the nature and journey of the intended wearer. Starting with the density that wools and other similar fabrics like jacquard matting have and ending in the soft and smooth texture that is velvet, the designs are nothing but regal.

The color choices of the autumn collection don’t disappoint either. There is a wide range starting with sand, earthy brown, khaki green, and deeper shades of blue and black. The color choices, together with the design patterns, result in an “exotic and impalpable, yet lingering” design as the design house, puts it.
