Clare Waight Keller Makes Givenchy Men’s Debut with Spring ’18 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published October 1, 2017

It’s a new era for Givenchy as Clare Waight Keller takes the artistic reigns. Following in the footsteps of Riccardo Tisci, Keller cleans the slate and revisits the fashion house’s focus on tailoring. Picking up a contemporary edge along the way, Keller’s man fits right in with Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein by Raf Simons. Leading the eye with the point of a shoulder, sharp blazers make a refined appeal. The go-to piece complements lean trousers, tailored waistcoats, and half-buttoned shirts. Adding a little punch, Givenchy’s man takes a walk on the wild side with animal prints. The incorporation of logos throughout the collection also paints a new picture for Givenchy’s next chapter.
