Helen Anthony Breaks from the Norm with Artisan Liberation

The Fashionisto / Published February 24, 2022

During London Fashion Week, Helen Anthony showcased its fall-winter 2022 men’s collection digitally. The latest collection, named “Artisan Liberation,” continues to explore the concept of freedom in fashion, as seen through the lens of creative director Naeem Anthony’s tailored trademarks. This fall, Anthony embraces a rebellious sense of romance, defying conventional gender roles by designing clothes not defined by common manifestations of femininity and masculinity.

Helen Anthony’s fall 2022 collection is dominated by exciting shapes that are both intriguing and functional. The free-spirited approach to the silhouette champions the season’s aspirations. According to Naeem Anthony, “Artisan Liberation” is a redefinition of identity and self-acceptance via creative expression.

More particular, Anthony draws inspiration in the exuberant use of designs and colors that characterized the 1970s. The collection’s oversized tailoring features a bohemian mentality, including longline coats and statement tailoring with broad shoulders. “All or Nothing” is the philosophy with which Anthony approaches design.

Continuing inspiration from Helen Anthony’s spring 2022 collection’s diverse range of influences, the new men’s collection is a melting pot of ideas that includes a variety of lengths, colors, and textures. Fabrics are vital to the Helen Anthony man’s wardrobe, and this season is no exception.

Thanks to cooperation with Huddersfield Fabrics and Lochcarron of Scotland, tartan, cashmere wool, mesh, velvet, and more come together for the season in materials mainly created from sustainable sources. S.N Murarka, on the other hand, creates beautiful embroidery for the fall collection.
