Kiton KNT: Classic Meets Contemporary This Fall

The Fashionisto / Published January 18, 2023

This fall, Kiton’s KNT line offers a unique take on formal wear by reimagining traditional menswear pieces with modern elements. This combination of classic and contemporary fashion maintains the brand’s signature sporty feel while remaining sophisticated.

Walter and Mariano De Matteis, twin brothers and the creative directors of KNT, have been ardent advocates for quality products and the Made in Italy philosophy since their youth. Their latest collection combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern appeal to suit today’s man—a marriage between formal and informal designs inspired by contemporary desires.

“The technical and creative challenge of this collection was to uniquely interpret the garments traditionally worn by the men in our family,” explains Walter De Matteis. In fall’s designs, the creative director elaborates on the importance of “maintaining essential values like quality and Italian savoir-faire and fusing them with specific trends we like and pick up from observing the men we encounter on our travels, all the way from Europe and Asia to the United States.”

KNT is renowned for its attention to detail in its collections, using only the softest cashmere from Kiton’s Biella wool mill and featuring designs that combine traditional and modern elements. For instance, their single-breasted coat comes in a range of natural hues and a current hooded version perfect for any occasion.

From classic astrakhan to warm wool, stylish wide-rib velvet, and technical nylon fibers, contemporary fashions mix traditional materials with modern touches for high-performing garments. Whether you’re looking for a cozy sweater or s statement jacket, these versatile fabrics offer something unique to elevate your wardrobe.

This collection is composed of timeless colors such as classic blue, black, and light gray—additionally, vibrant red and camel tones in v velvet and wool debut in the line-up. Denim also plays a significant role with 5-pocket jeans alongside maxi-fit cargos offered in seven washes ranging from light blue to black.

The Kiton KNT line creates a fresh spin on formal wear that can bring classic and contemporary styles to any modern gentleman. Quality, craftsmanship, and Italian savoir-faire are all emphasized in this collection, offering timeless tones alongside dynamic shades across fabrics such as cashmere wool velvet denim and nylon fibers for garments of the highest caliber.
