Luca Larenza Embodies Young & Free for Spring ’23 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published June 26, 2022

Luca Larenza’s new spring-summer 2023 collection features light and bright fits with a certain optimism. After all, Larenza looks to the work of Italian director Luca Guadagnino to inspire the season’s vibe.

Furthermore, the collection references Guadagnino’s trademark vision, which can express youth’s intricacies, growth, enjoyment, and freedom. Larenza translates these ideas into a vivid narrative of patterns and timeless garments that find a fresh voice in youth.

Lluis Camps photographs Luca Larenza’s spring-summer 2023 lookbook, working with the designer who oversees styling and art direction. Meanwhile, model Emil Farago takes up the lead, embodying Larenza’s youthful man of style for the season. Emil inspires in a mix of contrasting motifs, including fan patterns that symbolize hope.

Luca Larenza revisits childhood memories of a carefree nature, reflecting the worry-free attitude in the season’s color palette. Bright colors come together with muted neutral tones for the collection. Meanwhile, Larenza keeps the adult in mind with an emphasis on quality. From silk and linen to cotton and cashmere, Larenza combines fabrics for a soft, light, and luxurious feel. Standouts range from polo shirts and jackets to knitwear and cargo pants.
