MX Paris by Maxime Simoens evokes the spirit of a “Night Dream” for its fall-winter 2019 collection. Looking to New York City for inspiration, the range mirrors the bright lights and colors of the city that never sleeps.
Deep midnight blue acts as the grounding force for the lineup with plenty of nineties references in the form of oversized knitwear and key outerwear. This casualness is juxtaposed with tweed and velvet tailoring. The collection also tackles hero menswear pieces such as the trench coat, which brings to mind the Big Apple.
